Teachers get your Skeletons out of the closet this Friday the 13th!

The full moon is rising it's Friday the 13th! Teachers know that this is a terrible combination for classroom behavior. Call it superstition but a full moon on Friday the 13th spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E. So why fight it? After all, excellent behavior on a full moon Friday is about as rare as a mystical unicorn coming by for a visit. So why not bring in a little fun for your students this Friday the 13th!

Take a few minutes out of your day and do something just for fun, see how it changes your classroom. Watch your students relax a little, watch them smile, enjoy making some memories and building relationships with your students. This Friday the 13th it's time to get your skeletons out of the closet and have a little fun. This Friday our class will have a special visit from sparkles the unicorn skeleton.

Sparkles is breaking out of our classroom closet and stirring up some Friday the 13th fun! She has brought with her all of the ingredients needed for a fun filled day! Here are a few unicorn themed activities that your students will love! So break your skeleton out of the closet and scare up a little fun this Friday the 13th!

Party Set-up Details: Spider table runner, Black and white paper fans, Iridescent tassel garland, Iridescent paper fans, black cauldron, eye ball orbs, unicorn skeleton, vintage Halloween signs, potion jars, pink fairy wings, unicorn plates.

Get the fun started with a little slime time! Everyone loves slime, check out this fun rainbow glitter slime recipe.

Grab a large bowl and mix 2 cups clear glue and 2 cups room temperature water together. Add in a little sparkle with some iridescent glitter. In a separate bowl, mix 2 cups hot water and 2 teaspoons of Borax (this step is safest for adults to handle). Mix well for one minute, add Borax solution into the large bowl of glue and water. Your slime will start to clump up so make sure your stir vigorously until most of the liquid is gone. Add in rainbow slime ballz. And watch the fun come alive. This glittery rainbow slime will melt through your fingertips, let your students explore with it at their desks. When you are done you can add it into a clear bag and add a unicorn topper to close it off to send it home.

Have your unicorn skeleton bring in a few fun unicorn themed books for your students to read. They will love reading a few silly stories about unicorns Thelma the Unicorn is one of my favorites. While they are reading their favorite stories they can complete a unicorn story report, download yours FREE!
